The self-criticised, not-good-enough, self-doubting, vulnerable days can be dreadful especially during this difficult times.
When these moments hit, I’ll always take a pause, acknowledge the feelings, be understanding and be patient.
And very often, I have also found myself practicing few things that drastically improve my well beings.
Here, are the 5 things I do regularly to nourish my inner self. Hopefully they will work on you too! ☺️
1. Read.
This sounds cliche, but with all the work and house chores, reading has become one of the few ways I could learn and get inspired. It calms me on a chaotic day, and it trains me to be more focused. My mind could be freed and creative, it’s a form of meditation when I’m lost.
2. Social media detox.
Things can be fun and glamorous here. But at the same time, the negative impacts are real if I spend too much time on social media. I disconnect myself when I just want to reconnect with my inner peace or stay in the present.
3. Sweat.
Blood flow and endorphin boost. For me, four times a week and an hour each time. Exercising and sweating can be great on freshening up my mood.
4. Eat mindfully.
On the weekdays, I practice the rule of “You’re what you eat.” Take lots of greens and avoid non-healthy food which can lead to inflamation and fatigue. By doing so, I could better control my emotions and stay productive the whole day. Well, on the weekends, I do eat naughty food to feed my soul. Ultimately, getting a balance between soul and mental haha.
5. Get a good sleep.
Sometimes I take for granted for being able to sleep. A proper sleep helps me to recharge and take on the next day challenges positively.

thank you for all your love, FAM! I experienced that a couple days ago. Feeling much better now & that's why I decided to put that video up for the world. I don't need the attention or sympathy, but what I do need is for people to understand that:
1) mental breakdown is for everyone
2) as unpleasant and depressing as it may be, it heals so much of internal wounds and bottled up emotions/feelings
3) it is OKAY to experience mental breakdowns
4) speaking to someone you love/trust HELPS a lot
5) THIS, is what makes us human. We feel. And then we build ourselves.

i had to wait a little before I posted this because I needed to make sure I healed a little (im okay now).

I had a mental breakdown recently, very unexpectedly. Sometimes it just hits you out of no where and you feel every part of yourself breaking into pieces. I didn't know why but I shattered. And ironically at that moment, I just finished filming an M.C.R video & was pumped as hell! But right after I took off my wig and shawl, everything went downhill. I filmed this because I wanted to see what I look like while experiencing a mental breakdown (this video is just 5% of the breakdown).

I burst into tears, my body was shaking, my chest felt heavy & my heart started pounding. I felt so lost and confused. It felt as if I was drowning so deep. I called someone I trusted & so much of pent-up emotions and feelings were released. I did NOT even know I had that much of blockages in my head and heart. I felt so much lighter. I looked at myself in the mirror and knew I regained a little strength back.

I am sharing this so that you know one thing. EVERYONE, no matter how big, small or experienced, everyone goes through mental breakdowns. And it is nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, it is something to EMBRACE! It is only through mental breakdowns, we are able to release so much of what's bottled up within us, consciously or unconsciously. Please talk to someone you trust if you ever feel like you're shattering. A mental breakdown, fortunately is one of the best ways to heal, no matter how unpleasant it may be.

?? THE POWER OF SELF-AWARENESS ??❤️
We’ve all heard of words like self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-worth ... but how about self-awareness? What exactly is self-awareness and what is the power of self-awareness?
Self-awareness is the ability to focus and evaluate our thoughts, feelings and actions. It ultimately allows us to master our emotions and not let our emotions master us. As a life coach, I hope to empower you to understand the concept of self-awareness.
The Cycle of Self-Awareness:
1. THOUGHTS - We can’t control the thoughts that pop in our head, but we can control which thoughts to focus on and which to dismiss. Although it’s good to focus on positive thoughts, we can’t simply ignore the negative ones. When we have negative thoughts, are these facts or merely opinions? Let’s tackle the negative facts and dismiss the negative opinions.
2. FEELINGS - What we feel, influences our actions. We need to be mindful and aware of the feelings that arise from our thoughts. Are we feeling positive or negative from our thoughts? When negative feelings emerge, let’s ask ourselves why and determine the root cause.
3. ACTIONS - We can either choose to REACT, an emotional action (“immature”) or RESPOND, a rational action (“mature”). When we are aware of the feelings which stem from our thoughts and the root causes of them, we have full control to respond rationally.
4. OUTCOMES - Our outcomes are a direct result of our actions. If we react emotionally, this will lead to a viscous cycle of negative thoughts, negative feelings and negative outcomes. As such, we must respond rationally and take control of our outcomes.
This process will take time and patience. So let’s be gentle and loving with ourselves! Next time we have a negative thought in our head which we cannot merely dismiss, let’s take a few moments to be mindful of how we are feeling. Should we react emotionally and let our emotions take the better part of us or respond rationally and take control of our emotions? When we choose to respond rationally, notice how it changes our outcomes !

This is a Story of Regeneration
Year 20XX… All the living creatures, vegetation and animals on earth have totally died out as a result of environmental pollution, war, and human destructions.
One day, a creature never seen, a creature unlike any other is born out of rotten debris, anger, as well as sorrows… eventually regenerating into a form, something similar to a human.
This creature, without any emotions nor feelings, finds a plant miraculously growing out of rotten debris, and as a result, seizes “a heart”… and … obtains… emotions.
これは再生の物語
20XX年…地球上のすべての生き物、植生、動物は、環境汚染、戦争、人類の破壊の結果として完全に絶滅しました。
ある日、見たことのない生き物、他にはない生き物が、腐った残骸、怒り、そして悲しみから生まれました… その生物はやがて人間に似た形に再生していきました。
この生き物は、感情も感情もなしに、腐った破片や瓦礫の中から奇跡的に成長している植物を見つけ、その結果、「心」をつかむ…そして…感情を得る…。
